How to judge the quality of motor bearings
There are several methods to determine the quality of motor bearings:
Listen to the sound: A normally functioning bearing will make a slight buzzing sound. If you hear a "stem, stem" sound, it may be due to the rupture of the inner
and outer steel rings or ball bearings; If you hear the noise of "rolling, rolling", it may be due to a lack of oil in the bearing. Slight noise is usually caused by sand
and debris mixed in the oil.
Check temperature: If the temperature of the bearing exceeds 95 ° C during operation, it indicates that the bearing has experienced overheating failure. This may
be due to improper assembly of the bearing, loose or tight fit of the end cap, or loose or tight fit between the bearing inner ring and the shaft neck.
Check the clearance and rotational flexibility: Regularly check the clearance and rotational flexibility of the bearings. If the bearing is loose or the rotation is stuck,
it may indicate that there is a problem with the bearing.
The reasons for bearing damage include:
Improper assembly leads to increased friction loss.
The fit between the inner ring of the bearing and the journal is too loose or too tight.
Poor quality or excessive amount of lubricating grease added.
The bearing lacks oil or the lubricant has impurities.
When selecting suitable bearings, it is recommended to choose bearings from large brands and check whether the rotation of the bearings is uniform, without any
jamming or clearance. This can ensure the quality and effectiveness of the bearings.
