How to remove the bearing from the shaft? How many methods are there?
1、 Percussion method
The impact force is generally applied to the inner ring of the bearing, and should not be applied to the rolling elements and retaining frame of the bearing. This method is simple and easy to implement, but it is prone to damage the bearing. When the bearing is located at the end of the shaft, use a copper rod or other soft metal material smaller than the inner diameter of the bearing to press against the shaft end, add a cushion block at the bottom of the bearing, and gently tap with a hammer to remove it. When applying this method, attention should be paid to the appropriate placement of the cushion block and the correct point of application.
2、 Pull out method
Using a specialized puller, when disassembling, simply rotate the handle and the bearing will be slowly pulled out. When disassembling the outer ring of the bearing, the corners of the two legs of the puller should be opened outward; When disassembling the inner ring of the bearing, the two feet of the puller should be facing inward and clamped onto the end face of the inner ring of the bearing.
matters needing attention:
1. The pull hook of the puller should be hooked onto the inner ring of the bearing, rather than the outer ring, to avoid excessive looseness or damage to the bearing;
2. When using a puller, align the lead screw with the center hole of the shaft and do not tilt it. Attention should also be paid to the stress situation of the hook and bearing, and do not damage the hook and bearing;
3. Be careful to prevent the hook from slipping off;
4. The bending angle of the two legs of the puller is less than 90 degrees.
3、 Pushing method
Using a press to push bearings ensures smooth and reliable operation without damaging the machine and bearing shielding room. Pressure machines can be manually pushed, mechanically or hydraulically pushed.
Attention: The force point of the press should be on the center of the shaft and should not be biased.
4、 Hot dismantling method
Used for disassembling tight fitting bearings. First, pour the engine oil heated to around 100 ℃ into the bearing to be removed using an oil pot. After the bearing ring expands due to heat, the bearing can be pulled out using a puller.
matters needing attention:
1. Firstly, the puller should be installed on the bearing to be removed and a certain amount of tension should be applied;
2. Before heating, the shaft should be wrapped with asbestos rope or thin iron plate to prevent excessive thermal expansion, otherwise it will be difficult to disassemble. When disassembling the bearing from the bearing housing hole, only the bearing housing hole can be heated, and the bearing cannot be heated;
3. When pouring oil, the shielding machine room should steadily pour the oil pot onto the bearing ring or rolling element, and place an oil basin below it to collect the flowing hot oil, avoiding waste and burns;
4. Operators should wear asbestos gloves to prevent burns.
