How to check the temperature of bearings in ball mill equipment?
The temperature of the bearings in the ball mill equipment can be checked through various methods, including the use of thermometers, infrared thermometers, temperature sensors, and display instruments.
Firstly, a thermometer can be used to directly measure the temperature of the bearing. For the outer rotor motor, point A is located on the stationary part no more than 10mm away from the inner ring of the bearing, and point B is located on the outer surface of the stationary part, as close as possible to the outer ring 1 of the bearing. For hard to reach areas, an infrared thermometer can be used, with the light as perpendicular as possible to the measured surface and the distance as short as possible.
During the inspection process, the following points should be noted:
1. Lubrication system inspection: Ensure that the quantity and quality of lubricating oil and grease meet the requirements, avoiding too much or too little.
2. Installation inspection: Ensure that the bearings are installed correctly and there are no friction or overheating issues caused by improper installation.
3. Vibration and noise: Check the vibration condition of bearings through vibration diagnosis method to detect abnormalities in a timely manner.
4. Fiber optic monitoring: using fiber optic monitoring technology to extract signals and determine the status of bearings.
